FANCY

Champion Tunamara Faiance

Way back in January 2008 a little blue and white girl was born into my Tunamara Willow Pattern's final litter. She was named "Tunamara Faiance" after the old blue ceramic pottery glass. Fancy as we called her had that look at me attitude that I love to see in my puppies and she along with her brother Supreme Champion Tunamara Sahje were destined to be show dogs from the start. Sahje left me to show with Clare Flattum in Alice Springs where he succeeded over and above all expectations. Fancy stayed with me and we showed most of the way here in SA, when I had the chance to send her to a friend in Victoria she travelled down to Cherie to be finished there. She achieved her Championship before she turned 12 months old against strong competition and we retired her for future breeding.

Fancy's first litter to Champion Piccino Fino in 2010 produced the striking son "Tunamara Silver Dice". Dice lived at Igmajik Kennels where he sired some lovely babies including "Champion Igmajik Strike Me Lucky". He also went to our Fancy daughter "Aurora" later for a line bred litter to give us our own pretty girl "Tunamara Calamity Jane". He is back home with us now.

Jane also recently produced her own litter of which two babies were retained. Champion Tunamara Hear Me Whisper currently showing in Victoria with Tahrae Kennels and the well performed Champion Tunamara Do You Want To Knowa Secret.

Fancy's second litter in 2011 to Wondoan Walk The Line gave us two lovely girls in "Tunamara Aurora" and "Champion Tunamara Ambrosia". Aurora as stated is the dam of Calamity Jane and grandmother of the youngsters shown above and Ambrosia has also produced two lovely girls for Tacozajo Kennels in "Tacozajo Summer Rain" and "Champion Tacozajo Butterfly Effect" who is owned and presented by Clare Flattum in Alice Springs.

Fancy saved her best work for her 2012 mating to Champion Tunamara Silver Dollar which produced four boys. "Tunamara Shades Of Smoke" travelled to Queensland but the second boy who was retained grew up to become "Grand Champion Tunamara Sterling Silver". Sting as we call him is a multi Best in Group, Best of Breed and Best in Show winner. He has achieved Challenges at three Royal shows and gained his 10000 points for his Grand title all before his third birthday. This mating was repeated the following year and we received two little girls in "Champion Tunamara Mahena" who lives in Victoria with Leisl Wood and "Champion Tunamara Neoma" who is owned and loved by Tacozajo Kennels.

The final litter from this great mother was born in 2014 after she was bred to Tunamara Azriel. She produced four boys and one lovely "keeper" girl in "Champion Tunamara Sweet Caroline" and we have used one of the boys also "Champion Tunamara Hot August Night".

Meanwhile son "Sting" has also been bred to Champion Tunamara Perfect Pride and his son Champion Tunamara Done With Style" and his daughter "Champion Tunamara Tres Chic" have gone ahead to Royal show success and numerous Group wins.

Kaasha Kennels in WA also have a Sting Son in Champion Kaasha Mr Topsy Turvy who was the 2015 Adelaide Royal and Perth Royal Best of Breed in big competition.

So as you see the Fancy influence continues now through her final babies. and her grandchildren as well as her older children. She has been a phenominal mother and we love her dearly. After her last babies were weaned she went to the vet and was speyed so that she now can relax in her forever home with Cherie and Zaria at Tacozajo Kennels who love her as much as we do.
