IMPORTS

Over the years we have invested in new bloodlines by bringing dogs into Australia from other countries. We have always tried to keep to the type and style of the dogs that we love and hopefully we have improved our gene pool by including these dogs. Thank you to those overseas who have trusted us with their precious dogs.

In 2007 this gorgeous little Tibbi became our first Import

Champion Akeara Beach Babe (imp NZ)

Gilly was from Mrs Van Gelder and she came to us and made her title easily. She is now retired as a couch potato and lives with a friend but we retain her son locally and now her grandson "Tuscamada Lokomotion" has also joined us.

My constant companion and bedmate

Aust / NZ Champion Balmacara Blake-Park (imp NZ)

I cant thank Gilly Mathieson enough for bringing Blake to us in 2008. He is the sire of "Gilly" (above) and he went into the ring with me at almost 6 years of age and gained his Australian title easily. A Champion in his younger days in NZ he owned the rings and then produced a lovely pair of youngsters in Ch Tunamara Klass and Ch Tunamara Vienna who live with friends. We retain a daughter of Klass in our group but now Blake is aged and spends his time relaxing wherever he feels most comfortable but never far from my sight.

2009 saw our first Italian Greyhound import

Aust / AM Champion

Marchwind Georgia On My Mind (imp USA)

came to us from the famed Marchwind Kennels in Atlanta. She gained her title across the ocean and then came to me where  we had fun showing her here. Her litters have been hugely successful with us retaining offspring from each of her litters. She has her own "Stars" page where you can follow her achievements.

Sadly Georgia passed away from a blood clot in her brain in July 2015. We miss her dreadfully.

2011 saw the arrival of a lovely boy from Belcanto Kennels in USA.

American Champion

Belcanto Alexander Crystal Seer (imp USA)

Alex arrived in February and we are thrilled he came to us but unfortunately we believe that treatments required for importation affected him badly and left him infertile. So that said we were obviously never able to breed from him. He became an affectionate, loving little dog and a wonderful baby sitter before succumbing to cancer in early 2015. We did not have him for long but we loved him while he was here

And on to 2013, We purchased two young Italians for our show / stud team. They arrived in July and we welcomed them as they will increase our gene pool with totally new bloodlines

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION UWHARRIE ARTESIA OUTBACK FLYER (imp USA

Am Ch Kismet Uwharrie Moscow Flyer Amulets Far From Over  2012

A stunning young male from the successful breeding program of Lynne Ezzell. We are excited about Thomas and the contribution he is making to our breeding group. He gained his Aussie title against strong competition over just 3 months of showing and still shows with us occasionally.

His first babies are on the ground and in the rings and his first Champions are made up and we have to really thank Lynne for allowing him to come to us.

AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION UWHARRIE KISMET COME WITH ME (imp USA)

Am Ch Uwharries Hall Of Fame

 Kismet Uwharrie Desert Orchid 2012

Little Mika has also arrived with her mate Thomas. We love the style of this bitch and as with Thomas she titled easily in just 4 months of showing with big challenges and strong competition. Mika swiftly found her place in my bed and my home and although just a bit insecure from quarantine she is really a settled part of the family. Her first mating to Thomas exceeded expectations and was the most anticipated litter we have ever bred.

It is 2016 and again we have decided to add to our gene pool. We have imported this stunning little boy (shown age 12 months) from South Africa. He comes from the very successful kennel of Mr Ian Allison and arrived safely in October. Introducing ...

RAVILAIS MARMADUKE MOTH (imp SA)

2019 has seen us invest n another little American boy to help maintain genetic diversity here. We have imported this lovely sound boy from Lynn Partridge of Alura Italians in USA and we are excited to see his contribution soon.

We Welcome

AMERICAN CHAMPION

ALURA WILLY WONKA TO OZ (imp USA)

This baby boy also made it in November 2016 all the way from our good friend Tania McLardy in New Zealand.

He is AMOROSA ON GABRIELS WINGS (imp NZ) and he will join our show team in 2017.
